AND THE TITLE IS: 727 AND CLIMBING. THAT IS ALL.

They are brining more and more work into the shop and that is good but at the same time I am feeling exhaustion coming on at three hundred miles per hour already. Our shop is crammed full of machines and work. Too bad we are not crammed full of dedicated people who actually care about getting all of the work done instead of just trying to make the boss think they like him and care about the job. I am a lot of things. Toothless, wizzy when I sleep, not always the most aromatic, and sometimes and I know this is hard to believe but I can be a smart ass. But the one thing I am is a hard worker who takes the jobs he does, no mater what they maybe, serious.

From Work Whining To Responses To Comments Left:

P,
That big boom is why I will not live in a place that uses gas unless I have to. I’m way too paranoid and neurotic for that.

Marlena,
Yep, but I tend to want to get all up and ready when you are down a few PM’s and a couple hours in sleep mode.

Geek Speak:

Gridlock to break TV record
Gridlock will be the 727th episode of Doctor Who, which breaks the record previously held by Star Trek for the total number of episodes. "Gridlock is the 727th episode of Doctor Who. This will break the record held by the various series in the Star Trek franchise. They amassed a combined total of 726 episodes between them."

Beam that up your Scotty!

Back To Reality:

I have to put myself on a better diet because my health has always sucked since those first hours of life when I was trying to breathe but it just was not happen, through a youth of hospital stay, and then early adulthood just feeling like shit.

And In The News:

“Stretched” Military Extends Tour of Duty for U.S. Troops
The U.S. military has announced an across-the-board extension of tours of duty for all active soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Soldiers will be deployed for up to fifteen months -- three months longer than before. The move will affect more than one hundred thousand soldiers and bring about the military’s longest combat tours since the Second World War. The extension also marks the first time active duty-soldiers will have spent more time at war than at home. At the Pentagon, Defense Secretary Robert Gates acknowledged the military is “stretched” in defending the extension.
Democrats say the extended tours could jeopardize military readiness and threaten the army’s make-up as an all-volunteer force. Senate Armed Services Committee chair Carl Levin said: “Once again, the failures of this administration are being underwritten by our troops.”
Democracy NOW!
Another sign of the coming draft in this country. And thus the civil war will begin. We live in ever growing more interesting times. I just wonder if most see all the little signs.

MSNBC Drops Imus Over Rutgers Remarks
The television network MSNBC has responded to the growing public and advertising pressure over the radio host Don Imus’ recent remarks about the Rutgers women’s basketball team. MSNBC will no longer simulcast Imus’s syndicated radio program “Imus in the Morning.” MSNBC had initially announced Imus would be suspended for two weeks. The move came amidst increasing pressure from civil rights groups and declining support from advertisers. Companies including Staples, Procter & Gamble, Sprint and General Motors had all pulled their ads from Imus’ MSNBC broadcast. CBS Radio has also suspended Imus for two weeks. Protests are scheduled for today to pressure CBS to drop Imus permanently.
Democracy NOW!
I love how the media has totally turned this around and now they are talking about rap artists singing worse stuff and that this is freedom of speech. And it is freedom of speech but this guy also painted himself more news than entertainment and tried to pull in a lot of political figures. But lost now in all of this is how women are targeted again in the media and that fact is danced over for hot button talk.

Author Kurt Vonnegut Dead at 84
And finally, the author Kurt Vonnegut has died. He was eighty-four years old. Vonnegut authored at least nineteen novels including “Slaughterhouse-Five” and “Cat’s Cradle.” In recent years, Vonnegut was a fierce critic of the Bush administration and a columnist for the magazine In These Times.
Democracy NOW!
Slaughterhouse Five was one of the first books that caught my attention was I was little. A teacher gave it to me even in 3rd Grade I think it was, though other teachers said it was over my level. I have lived with a learning disability most of my life. That book though, It got my attention and helped push my love of reading.

Admin Loses E-mails Sought in Attorney Probe
The Bush administration is claiming to have lost dozens of e-mails sought in the Congressional investigation into the firing of eight U.S. attorneys. The White House says the emails can’t be tracked because they were sent from private accounts intended for political activities rather than through government-issued email accounts. Democrats have accused White House senior adviser Karl Rove and other aides of using the private accounts to avoid leaving a paper trail in the attorney firings.
Democracy NOW!
So basically they lost government documents? If I lost important e-mail documentation at my job I would get fired. Why I archive and back up everything. Though we all know they are not lost or at least not gone by accident but if they did stupidly lose these documents then this is another example of how government officials are not held accountable to doing their jobs the way the rest of us are.

I give you a good night with this. This was always one of the craziest and thus best crossovers in comics history.

AND THE TITLE IS: THE PENGUIN AND THE FAT MAN

Work is really draining me dead. I have put in for this weekend off but if they call me I swear I may go off on someone if we have no shows like last weekend. And you know what? The work itself is not what is killing me, it is having to hold so many peoples, i e, we are talking adults, hands as they do their jobs to make sure they do their jobs. The past month I have been thinking of some business ventures I have been approached about. At pay the rent type work I just do not know where my head is at right now.

From Work Whining To Responses To Comments Left:

Again, You do not get a response Mar because you are mean. M - E….oh?… - A - N. MEAN!

Geek Speak:

Grindhouse's McGowan Got Leg Up
I really want to see this movie or movies as it may be. I love Rose McGowan too. The only reason I ever watched Charmed. Though that series was only a few ideas and a couple better writers from being just as good as Buffy and I believe Buffy was one of the best television shows ever I think they just decided we are just going to do entertainment and fun and nothing is wrong with that. But it could have been better. Did I mention I love Rose McGowan?

Cover for final 'Potter' revealed
This cover says one thing. We are not telling.

Back To Reality:

I did the fall asleep on the keyboard thing last night. Though it was really more head bobbing while trying to stay awake writing in front of the laptop. I was dead tired last night and fell asleep in front of the screen trying to get some writing done. I think I only got about 500 words done. I will have to go back and see tonight if I wrote anything good while dozing off.

And In The News:

'Meth Candy'
Is it Meth Cotton Candy? Now that would be cool. Why didn’t any drug dealers think of this sooner? Oh, yea, dead or stonned out of their minds. I see.

WHO agrees HIV circumcision plan
I just do not see how this will really help much? Sorry, don’t see it, maybe someone can explain it to me? I see the real issue in most countries and how it spread so fast in this country as a social political one. Though with all the dumb fuck stuff the Bu...Mr. Presidents Administration is doing to try and fight against HIV and AIDS this does sound…well, sound. And I’m stuff pissed my parents went snippy snippy on me when I was a baby.

Why do hated bands top the charts?
Because people like different things because…wait for it….wait…People are different. Fucking critic created bullshit.

Judge Dismisses Rumsfeld Torture Suit
A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit against former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld for the torture of prisoners in US custody overseas. The American Civil Liberties Union and Human Rights First had brought the case on behalf of nine former prisoners in Iraq and Afghanistan. The suit said Rumsfeld had tacitly or directly authorized a series of abuses including beatings, stabbings, shocks, burnings and sexual humiliation. In his dismissal ruling, U.S. District Judge Thomas Hogan acknowledged the men had been tortured. But he said they do not have constitutional rights to seek redress and that government officials are immune.
Democracy NOW!
Our government officials are immune. Immune from their own humanity. I just want to spin my chair in circles yelling, “BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT!” Until I get dizzy. Maybe then I will understand how our nation has let these people bring its foundations down around us without much resistance at all from its people.

Business Use of Terror-Watch List Shutting Out Innocent Customers
A civil rights group is reporting an increasing number of innocent people are being denied transactions by businesses checking their names against the Treasury Department’s terrorist watch list. The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights says credit bureaus, health insurers, car dealerships, employers and landlords have denied business to customers bearing similar names to those on the six-thousand plus list. In one case, a California man was denied a home loan after his credit report flagged his middle name, Hassan, as an alias for one of Saddam Hussein’s sons.
Democracy NOW!
This is like not allowing me a beer because my last name is Williams and you are afraid I will fall off a rocky cliff somewhere. That was for all the Hank Williams Jr. fans out there. I know you are there. Right there sitting with that poster of David Allan Cole behind you.

Gonzales Bolts Press Conference Following Attorney Questions
And finally in Chicago, a promised fifteen-minute press conference with Attorney General Alberto Gonzales turned to less than three minutes Tuesday as Gonzales ducked questions about the firing of the eight US attorneys. Gonzales left the podium after taking just three questions.
Democracy NOW!
‘What? I didn’t know they would ask me about those things? They said we would be talking about the start of baseball season and how they just killed Captain America.’

Hey, look. I actually did the labels this time.

TITLED: IF IT WASN’T FOR TWELVE THERE WOULD BE NO 13

I have a 2:30 weekly meeting at the day job today and so I had to come in around 11 to make sure I got everything ready for it. Now lets just see if 1- they actually have the meeting and 2- if they even look at the reports I prepared for the meeting. I think in so many businesses they have too many meaningless meetings and factory work seems to really be into those sort of meetings big time.
Oh, and my boss is not here yet so who knows what is going on about the meeting as well as other things.

From work whining to responses to comments left:

Marlena,
I agree. I swear more times of late I have come across something said by our so called leaders and have wondered if they could have actually said that. I have been misquoted myself so you have to wonder. I think she has caught dumb ass syndrome from him. But you know what it is not a matter of being stupid the same as with Mr. President. These people simply think thinks go their way or nothing. Hey, I live in my own reality but at least I admit parts of it have nothing to do with truth.
And then I see things like the rape kit story and I’m just wondering if these type of stories are fake and nine times out of time they are real.

Geek Speak:

This week is pay week so I plan to order a couple of Doctor Who items. Right now I thinking this or this or thisor this….The this’s could go on forever because I want all WHO! Actually, not true. I’m not into the clocks and such merchandise. Though I would like to have a t-shirt. I have never had a Doctor Who t-shirt. But mainly I just buy the books, DVDs, audio dramas, comics, magazines, and other ways of story telling. Do a search on EBay or Amazon and you will get a small, small taste of how much stuff is out there. Which is a lot of shit. Believe me it’s a lot of crap, I have this huge canon guide I created to keep track of everything I have and do not have. I only have three bookshelves full of stuff right now. Maybe my badge should read-SUPER GEEK?

Back To Reality:

For someone reason this laptop will not let me open other programs while being on the net so I will have to send this to the other computer at the day job so I can add links and do a little web suffering to see if I find anything that peeks my interest. So just warning if I put something it seems like I stupidly forgot a link where there should be one, I probably did stupidly forget a link where there should have been one.

BONES AND THE FEMALE BUSH…and they missed Dick!

Laura Bush Downplays Level of Violence in Iraq
First Lady Laura Bush is also being accused of downplaying the level of violence in iraq. During an interview on Larry King, Laura Bush said, “Many parts of Iraq are stable now. But, of course, what we see on television is the one bombing a day that discourages everybody.” The Brookings Institute recently estimated there are approximately185 insurgent and militia attacks every day.
Democracy NOW!
One bombing a day is rather discouraging you dumb ass.

Bipartisan Bill Introduced to Lift Cuba Travel Ban
And in news from Capitol Hill, support is growing for a bipartisan bill to lift all restrictions on travel by Americans to Cuba. The bill was written by Democratic Charles Rangel and Republican Jeff Flake. So far it has 68 official co-sponsors.
Democracy NOW!
Man this country sure can hold some grudges. Hell, Mexico has attacked the U.S. more times than Cuba has and we still deal with the…wait, strike that. I hope no one in the White House was listening…But wait, again. No, we will never fully cut off Mexico because all of the big companies who own the U.S. government need the cheap labor.

Rape victims in Missouri are billed for their rape kits
God, She will slip when she reads this
This is right up there with sending bills to the relatives of dead soldiers for body armor. This country does not think with its brain, its dick, but all together completely with its wallet.

I Have a Bone To Pick
Ok. Mr. Titanic guy. Were is your career now? Bones of Jesus, no big deal. Now go find me the bones that are in Mr. Presidents closet. Now that would be find of huge quantity.

My God my head is spinning from all that shit and I did not even say anything about the cyborg pigeons.….And yes she is my God and not yours, so there.

The novella is moving alone smoothly. Working on it during breaks at the day job. Really hitting some nice moments with Chapter Three, though word count wise I went backwards. I deleted two Chapter which I loved when I first wrote them but got over it really quick.

BRIAN REJECTS HIS OWN THOUGHTS

Bush Rejects Iran Talks
President Bush rejected speculation the new accusations are part of an effort to lay a pre-text for war. But he said the White House rejection of unconditional talks with Iran has not changed.
President Bush: "If I thought we could achieve success, I would sit down. But I don't think we can achieve success right now, and, therefore, we'll want to work with other nations. I think we're more likely to achieve our goals when others are involved as well."
Democracy NOW!\
Don’t you just love politics? “No, Not going to talk to them because they don’t really mean it.” Like a bunch of fucking kids. But instead of a battle for who hit who first with mom there and a snow cone at stake. Our lives and our children’s lives and those of everyone who we love and care about is at stake.

Franken to Run for US Senate
In election news, the radio host and comic Al Franken has announced plans to run for the Senate in 2008. Franken will challenge Republican incumbent Norm Coleman for the Minnesota seat once held by the late Democratic Senator Paul Wellstone. Franken made the announcement on his last day at Air America Radio.

The United States has finished next to last in a UN survey of child welfare in the world’s wealthiest countries. The US is ranked at number twenty, behind only Britain.

Ok. All together now with me. UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE.

YOUR MASTER WORE WOMENS UNDERWARE!

Being so sick I could barley move with a migraine keep me from posting a entry last night…wait, No I did post one. Something about ax murdering a few people and me poking my eye out. Which could let to a interesting story where I did end up with my eye dripping blood and Wave tries to say I did it on purpose. Yes, if picking at your eye for five minutes is on purpose I guess I‘m guilty. I thought it looks cool though.

To another point. Pointing at today. I do not know if this entry will make it onto the web since we are having lots of internet problems at the day job. So if you are reading this good for you but I still can not get online to check on Doctor Who breaking news. Stop calling me a geek Wave, You say it like it is a bad thing. At least I’m a honest geek. Maybe toothless but honest. Oh, go watch SUV!

Ex-Bush Counsel: Congress Can Stop Iraq War
Anti-war momentum gathered steam on Capitol Hill Tuesday with new resolutions and testimony challenging the Bush administration’s plans for Iraq. Appearing before the Senate Judiciary committee, former Bush administration counsel Bradford Berenson said the constitution gives Congress “broad authority” to end the war. Three other constitutional experts gave backing testimony. Republican Senator Arlen Specter challenged President Bush’s recent vow to send more troops to Iraq regardless of what happens in Congress.
Democracy NOW!
Sorry skipped government class my senior year for the most part. Though to me this sounds like we have some big time constitutional battles coming up in the courts and within the country as a whole. Tell me you aren’t, but I think everyone is, watching just for the moment when Mr. President comes out of the White House, walks up to that podium and says, “Who do you people think you are? I‘m the President” And thus we get to see the beginning of what so many countries have went through, a crumbling government.

FBI Surveillance Collects Internet Use in Massive Database
In domestic surveillance news, the FBI appears to have adopted an invasive Internet surveillance technique that collects far more data on innocent Americans than previously disclosed. Cnet News reports that instead of recording only what a particular suspect is doing, agents conducting investigations appear to be assembling data on thousands of Internet users at a time into massive databases. Those databases can then be mined for names, e-mail addresses or keywords.
Democracy NOW!
I wonder if they found all my old Doctor Who fan fiction I wrote on the net back in the old days? Hey, FBI please return to sender. You can keep all my rants that Bush sucks, I would rather live in Canada speeches, and even some of those dirty chats me and Touch use to do online but I would like to have my fan writing returned.
Thank you,
You are a credit to John Edgar Hoover.

IT WAS GOING TO BE NOTHING AND IT TURNED ON ME

Not really much interested me in the news today or much of anything else. Currently reading stuff here. Peter David is a writer that some do not like because of his personal views. And his writing has been hit or miss for my personal taste at times. He came up thought when talking with a friend tonight online who said, “I can‘t read his writing, I just can‘t stand his views on politics.’…which just strikes me as stupid. Maybe I’m stupid, child like, or just plan off my kill-hole but hating someone’s work for their personal views just doesn’t make sense. I have lots of writers and artists whose books and movies sit on my bookshelves but I would no more invite them over for drinks in my home than call Dick Cheney up and say, ‘Hey, buddy. How does fish sticks and Budweiser sound to you? Great, come on over The Factor starts in a hour.’

I once said that to not be political in today’s environment is akin to suicide and I believe that but for followers of good storytelling and followers of the arts to start putting stamps on works just based on the creators personal views is to me like closing down a bookstore and not caring. If you hate a writers work. Fine, move on and find someone else you may like. But if you only hate or will not approach a book or story because the artist may seem too liberal or conservative then your not thinking with both sides of that thing sloshing around in liquid above your shoulders. I use mine from time to time, make a point to try it tomorrow. You may even find your ability to understand the rules of Wheel Of Fortune better.

And sort of along the same drained, washed along road side acid, pitched away thought pattern that I march to I hate when a writer clearly aims a fiction book politically one way or another. Yes, everything that makes up a writer life will make it in some way or another into his writing if he gets time to develop a good body of work. I just have never seen people as on the right or left, liberal or conservative and I think for a writer to plainly paint characters as being on one side or the other is truly a act of one dimensional writing and is lazy. And I maybe a hack but I’m not lazy in how I approach characters or stories.

Oh and no matter how much we like to paint those we hate as being one form of primordial life with legs. Looking at them as one wave length creatures. Its just not true. Ever. Demonizing is a failure of stupidity in the laziness of not being able to see the weakness falls, fear runs, animal leaps; evil natures that exist within all of us. Yes Hitler loved, Jesus probably did get down with at least one babe, and George W. Bush- Mr. President himself is not trying to get more people killed on purpose. Its fun to paint him like Doctor Doom in a bad suit but we all are human. The tragic and sad thing is that some of us wear blinders when it comes to living in the world with other people. He is one of those people. Doctor Doom he is not.

I lost my way from a thought to just post a website link of a writer I like for the day to a rant that lead on but lead nowhere….

Maybe that is because that is how I see the world going. Into the future but standing still while it does so little.
