I got up this morning to an email from someone wishing to buy Gods Left In The Trash from my Lulu store but only got error messages in return. Thanks Oracle, I was blind to the issue without your email. I thought maybe it was just a temporary type problem but went into my site to discover due to their system somehow making two copies of my files it canceled out the project but you only knew this if you tried to purchase a item. I have to wonder how many readers(sales)I lost due to this? I had to delete everything, upload new files, and then go to all of sites and promo means to change the links. The item numbers changed so I had to change all my links for not only Gods Left In The Trash but also Stereo. This was a really big pain in the ass and I once again I prove in all situations I can look stupid but I have to say Lulu has always been great to deal with and I will continue to do so. No I need a fucking soda bad.......Like bad....

If you can actually have a sale when you have only one thing to "sale" but anyways, I just cut the price of Stereo in half for the Holiday season so to speak, though knowing me I will probably forget and leave it that way for eternity.

So I got a call from Wave and her phone has died in a water bottle accident; so, if you are someone reading this who maybe trying to get ahold of her, you can't! it drowndeded. She will be trying to make provisions to replace soon.

Onto writng updates, I'm basically finished with the YA/Junior fiction book I was writing and now I'm in search of an editor. I'm looking at a possiable May release date and will be deciding if it should be a PDF release like my first book or a bound print run. All of this will be discussed with the editor and others as the months march on. Oh, and to an extra point if I do release as a print bound book I will also release as a PDF to cover both grounds and have the PDF at a cheaper price. All depends on how much cash I have at the date of publication. Right now I'm thinking PDF but if the Gods shine down maybe I will have the cash to self-publish as a printed as in paper book.

And with the above being said it is time to move on to the next project which I think will be the next book in The Tin Universe series that started with Stereo. Yes, that was pimping. Go buy now and support my funds for hiring a quility(=money money)artist for the cover of the next book in the series. The first books cover had a basic minialist feel I love but the next I will probably be going more in the direction of a old style movie poster for it.

I'm working with some talented people to set up some things for a full website launch for The Tin Universe and Stereo. I'm trying to get as many special things for the site launch ready and that's why I'm not anncouncing a website launch date. I wish to at least have this be a pretty good creative site off the bat. I released the book early just to get it out there but in the next few months I plan to play pimp for it big time.

I'm pretty sick right now and should be working on book two in the series or other writing but I'm handling a lot of family issues right now also. What is about this time of year that makes my life go choas all at once?

Finished up the 2nd Draft of Stereo tonight and also sent it off to the editor. Oh, and speaking of Stereo remember that if anyone wishes to pick up any merchandise with the first promotional image for the book on it they can gohere. All money will go towards me and my habits, some pure and most not so much so but those are the fun ones.

Tonight I'm also starting the typing up of the 1st Draft of my third book.

Robin, I can not wait until the pagan tree decorating happens. I will be there with my badly dressed poor self. Will it be the The Caveman, The Hillybilly, The Model, and The Rage once again for all the fun?

Touch, You asked about the poster to the right of my Avengers poster? The big one is some short of tribal warrior print, I don't know the artist, I picked it up at the mall once. The print was only like 15dollars but the framing cost me some where around 80. Though this was back in my Program Planner days when I had lots of cash. If you was speaking of the smaller one? That is a framed print of a peice of art and a poem by Neil Gaiman about 911.

Robin and Mr. ECFPC rescused this stray and found it a home. Right now it's sitting on our balcony until the person who is taking it comes to pick it up.

On the writing front. I am finishing up the final touches on the 2nd Draft of Stereo this week. Then it will go back to the editor for another polish and then it will be very much as it will be seen when it finally becomes a book.

My neck and back are much better but I think I maybe at the age were a injury like these may stay around lingering and hurting for a while after the main injury pains go away. I also recently discovered that I can not sleep on pain killers and so if I take them near bed time I have to let the effects wear off before going to bed which makes taking them sort of useless because one of the few reasons I do take them is so I can sleep past all the pains that hurt right now?

THE TITLE IS: WHERE WAS THE BANDIT WHEN I NEEDED HIM?

So last night I got pulled over again because I still haven’t fixed my back lights on my truck. I know, I know, I know. We picked up new bulbs but that was not it and I have not had the time to pick up the new cover for the passenger side which is totally broken out. More than likely coming from a lot of people who know a lot more about cars than myself it is the fuse. I showed the police lady my fix it ticket from before and my order from the auto parts store and she told me not to drive the truck again until I get everything fixed and let me go. Hey, a nice cop. Is it by chance it was a “nice lady cop” Probably not. Guys are assholes and for the most part male cops even more so. I was lucky I did not get another ticket but I was so stressed when I got home that I did not go to bed until 4am and did not get to sleep until around 5am. After sleep until like 1pm Mar brought me into work but I walked into another shit storm here once again and as I said to Mar, “Am I still not allowed to kill people?”

I am so frustrated at the pay the rent job at the moment which is inspiring some very dark and off the wall weird stories to come out of me. Between working on the 2nd Draft of Stereo last night I also wrote the first draft of a four issue comic series that is set after Stereo and based in the same universe as it is. A sort of bridge between the books in the series. I would not mind doing this with every book in the series if things work out and people like the book thus warranting such things to happen. The artist I talked to about doing this mini series wanted to work on something superheroish in story because he normally does not do that type of artwork but I will have to see if he likes this. It is still superhero but also very “I wonder if he was taking drugs when he wrote this” which I wasn’t but its got lots of sections that fit that line of thinking.

Responding to a comment left by Katie. 1974 was the working title of a book I wrote the 1st draft of a couple years ago. It’s been on my mind of late as I think about what will be the book I will be working on after Stereo is finished.

Just finished reading Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl and I will start back reading Doctor Who: The Burning which I stared months ago but got sidetracked by other books and writing work. Then after visiting Doctor Who for a while maybe I will see if I can find Boy Toy by the same writer as Fanboy and Goth Girl and set in the same school; which would be cool reading it and hoping they mention the lead characters from book one because I liked the book but thought it ended really suddenly.

I remember someone once told in Vancouver when speaking about small versus large production companies that you put the screws to those you can because someone is probably putting them to you also. Which is complete bullshit but I thought I would share.

Research is fun. Organizing what I find on the other hand is work. Finding out that you have just read a book for research and will only use about a sentence worth of information from is sort of frustrating if I think about it too much…Which I don’t think I will.

I’m still working away on the 2nd Draft of STEREO when I find time at work and at home. Though for the most part the only time I find a chance to work on it is during brakes at the pay the rent. I have been adding new chapters that just need to be there while also filling holes which had me saying, "How could I not have noticed that before." Once I get all the stuff from the editor’s notes and those from myself after reading the edited 1st Draft worked into the story I will be ready to move onto the next step on this draft. After I get all of that washed all clean I'm going to go back and dirty it all up again working on the dialogue in an attempt to give each of the characters their own voice. Some do already but others really sound too bland.

Not behind but trying my best to keep my head above water in so many ways, Mostly good ways too for a change. Sorry for the lack of updates of late. Not even counting the pay the rent job I have had so many little things I'm working on in getting projects birthed and moving forward and other such baby steps towards bigger steps.

Sunday I got the 1st Draft of Stereo back from the editor. I think she deserves a raise for trying to edit my insanity. Now I need to read it over again and make my own notes, meet with her to discuss her notes, and then off to finish the 2nd Draft and hopefully final draft. The book will not be out until mid 2008 but I really do not want to go into 4th and 5th drafts because that will get the publishing schedule of the line behind. I would like to get it finished and in the can to use a film term way ahead of time so we can plan other tie in materials and also the next book in the line.

The next teaser image for Stereo will appear here in Sept and hopefully soon after that the launch of the official website. I’m currently looking for an independent local website design group to work with on that.

We commissioned a piece of artwork to be used for a t-shirt with the proceeds going to charity a few weeks ago. Last night I talked to a group about the proceeds going to them. That should be done by the first week of August so hopefully I will have more news on that next week. Just awaiting approval on art design from the group proceeds will be going to and we can hand over to artist for him to begin his fun.
