Brain Leakage from Battle Shields to Mary Tyler Moore and then President Snow
Twitter Shits:

Creating to me can be a sword and shield held while going into battles I can't win. Battles out of my control. It's how I stay sane.

Watching the Birds Of Prey episode of Arrow.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Mar 29
I liked the Arrow episode. Still hate that DC film stuff has to be stuck only in darkness with no joy or laughs.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Mar 29
I think if they made a Plastic Man tv series theyd start by making him a former serial killer and make his suit blood red.

Got Justified: Season 4 from the library. Gonna watch the shit out of it.

Today is one of those days where I need to write and write and write until my fingers bleed or I'm going to completely lose my mind.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Mar 31
Will I lose my Twitter card for not knowing what a subtweet is and not really giving a fuck?
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Mar 31
A friend just told me what it means. So basically its a passive aggressive tweet? Isn't that basically the whole internet in a way?
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Mar 31
Did 3252 words on a project that I'm going to release in 2014 or 2015. Felt good because I was just blindly writing also. Needed that.

Started daily morning yoga. That with back doing 30 Day Shred might mean I live out the year. #notanapirlfoolbecauseyouknowmeexercising
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
I'll get a few hours of writing to rest between yoga and shred because I'm soooooo out of shape.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
You know why its called 30 Day Shred? BECAUSE IT FUCKING SHREDS YOUR ASS... and legs... and arms... :(
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
I've done the work out in the past but started back today. I say April Fool's is as good of a day as any to try and fool myself about hope.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
I need a voice writing thingee... because arms not working so well...
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
I think it was a mistake eating a big breakfast before yoga and shred. Having bad stomach cramps now :(

I wish Hulu Plus had more than 3 seasons of The Mary Tyler Moore Show. The first 3 s are good but the true groundbreaking still is after.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
A sad thing came to mind when watching these for the first time in a long time. You don't even see shows like this for women these days much
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
The Mary Tyler Moore Show tackled issues like pay gap and others that are still being ignored today by many and hardly ever addressed on TV.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
I either hurt my side working out or a kidney is about to burst.... kidneys are on the sides right?
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
BTW, the kidney thing is a fear. With all the over the counters I have to take mine can't be in good shape.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 1
But hey, I live in Florida with a shitsuckingasswhipecompanyfingeringtwit as Governor.

They finally replaced our hall light. Only took a year to do it. Oh, and I know how but our lease actually says we aren't suppose to do it.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 2
Our light fixtures are funky and you have to take things apart to change the bulbs.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 2
Lighting in our apartment sucks though. There are no living room or bedroom lights. Theres one in a short hallway, the bathroom, and kitchen

Lunch is noodles, water, and Agents Of SHIELD.Watching the End Of The Beginning episode.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 3
I liked that episode of Agents Of SHIELD. Now watching the latest Arrow.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 3
I think sometimes Arrow suffers from having too many characters but it works in this episode.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 3
I do still think a smaller in scale solo Arrow first season would have been better to build from.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 3
That's my favorite Arrow episode so far. Both SHIELD and Arrow look to be building to something good.
Brian Williams @hangofwednesday Apr 3
Someone fill a troth with a hamburger, fries, soda, and maybe an apple pie. Then bring it before me and I shall not bring ruin upon America.

I go off on the salt rant from the episode 2 of Chef! when Mar put BBQ sauce or extra cheese on everything I cook.

Ever time I do a Chef! marathon it makes me miss working in a restaurant. I love being in a kitchen.

Under The Training Book: While Writing There Was Bad Samaritans and The Police
Recently I watched more random first episodes of shows on Netflix while writing. The following are my brief thoughts about each one and whether I will be adding them to my Netflix queue…it’s still a fucking queue, I ant having with any of this “My List” bullshit. You can take our freedom Netflix but you can never take OUR QUEUES!!
It's 8:08am, you think you'll getting comedy gold.
Onward.
Bad Samaritans: The little A-Team like sequence was pretty good but otherwise…nope, sorry. Again a show that wants to have an edge but in fact has as much of an edge as a basketball or the universe. If I an high network person and I watched this pilot I would send it back with a note that said “Watch My Name Is Earl and come back after you put more hard work into this.”
Traffic Light: I can almost taste the hipster vibes coming off this show and it tastes like thinking you are doing something no one else understands but the truth is you are just as lame as someone trying to enter a swimming competition when you can’t, in fact, you know, swim.
Sons Of Tucson: I like Tyler Labine a lot so maybe this will turn out to be good. Old school sitcom premise but besides Labine nothing appealing. Again, another U.S. sitcom that doesn't see that it's walking into dark waters and needs to play within them to make things pay off to their full potential. This show is so close that I want to give it another go and watch more but so many things in my queue and so little time. Might change my mine later though.
Accidentally On Purpose: Will I have anything to enter my queue from this group? I’m betting against it looking at the surface and description of this show. I like Jenna Elfman and Ashley Jensen. I like Jenna Elfman and Ashley Jensen. I like….. I think you get my feelings on this.
*Next week, I’m probably going to watch some randomly picked anime series and watch the first episodes of those. The random picks are Attack On Titan, Black Butler, Welcome To The NHK, and Tenchi Muyo GXP.
While writing this playing on my Pandora shuffle:
-Blood Of Heroes by Megadeth
-Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police
-Some Unholy War by Amy Winehouse
-I Don't Wanna Be In Love by Good Charlotte
-Meant To Live by Switchfoot
-Angel On My Bike by The Wallflowers
-It's Not My Time by 3 Doors Down
-Unwell by Matchbox Twenty {this song sums me up pretty perfect right now in my life
{Is Walgreens the only ads on Pandora because its the only ones I ever get?}
-Moneytalks by AC/DC
-Na Na Na by My Chemical Romance
{Today's playlist shuffle seems to have been more Mar's music than mine. Probably pissed that I played Hank Green songs over and over all day yesterday and skipped way more than you are meant to.}
*I might start putting the while writing music lists on all my blog entries? I enjoy all kinds of music and also like talking music and discovering new musical artists I haven't heard before.

Under The Training Book: New Merch is a notebook about being a writer
First up a change in blogging schedule. I was stupid trying to post my Sunday Night Movie Night entries night of because after spending time with my friends I come home and even if I don't go to sleep I'm in no shape to write up a ton of stuff and work on pictures and so those entries will be moved to Monday and on Sunday now will be Questioned stuff so I can do it in the morning before getting ready for the days fun. One of the things that makes doing these daily blog entries work for me right now is I start my day working on them so its a good creative energy shot to the system.
But enough about my delusions of readership, this is Tuesday and Tuesday is New Merch day where once a week I post something new I created for one of my Zazzle Stores. Creating these items are another creative release for me.
I made the below linked notebook a couple weeks ago after me saying something on Twitter about how it took me years to find any sort of peace with my writing. I put my response on the cover of the notebook with a pictures from going to see Tron 2 in 3D years ago.
When I create new merchandise items I try to create stuff I would like to buy. I wouldn't mind having one of these notebooks in my ready to go notebook stack, to be there when the need calls. And I will be buying more stuff from my Zazzle stores when I get a new job and when that happens I'll also post reviews of the final product to let people in all honesty what I think about the product.

Under The Training Book: I Wish I Was Brave About....being in public
I want to first thank people for the emails I got on last weeks I Wish I Was Brave About...YouTubeing. I appreciate each and every letter. Even the "Go kill yourself" ones inspire me in a different way.
This week I wanted to talk about being in public. Another side fuck up about having problems with the way I like is doing things around other people. I'm not talking about big things here. I've never been a party person or someone who liked...well, people all that much but there are still things I'd like to do that I hold myself back from.
For examples my local comic book shop holds different events all the time. One of the events they do from time to time is a store quiz night. I would love to take part in something like this. I think it would be really fun. They also have a comic book discussion night and other events that I hold myself back from attending because of how I think others will think about the way I look. I just couldn't handle it and the more I like people, the more the place is somewhere I like, the more I think and think and think and hold myself back.
Even going out to eat I can twitch when someone is laughing nearby thinking are they laughing at me. Eating is always painful but one of the biggest pains is if I'm in public or around someone not Mar, though in general I don't like people who aren't Mar, I don't eat or I'm constantly looking to see if they are looking at me while I'm eating.
When going to job interviews feels like you are in a spotlight of judgment of your looks, when catching yourself laughing can make you close your mouth, leave that place of fun, and begin to fall into thoughts even among friends hurt. It makes you wish you could be braver.

Under The Training Book: Barbecued Humon, Order 9066, and Doing The Internet Right
This morning has seen me answering emails, watching All Creatures Great And Small, and trying to find one of Mar's candles that doesn't smell like burnt flesh because the cats... well, you know, leave cat smells around.
She says the candles smell like pumpkin, I say burning flesh baby... though not burning ba...never mind.
I'm right by the way, Barbecued Humon.
And I'm a incense man myself, which she hates. It's a divide that's shattering our relationship.
That was a joke by the way.
Just saying because history has proven such things need to be said.
Sad really. When you think about it.
I stopped drinking soda with the new year. Four days in and I'm watching tons of YouTube videos to keep my head from exploding and writing like mad....... all the things in my brain are not being whipped back into submission by caffeine.
I NEED A CHAIR AND A WHIP PEOPLE! The thoughts... the thinking...the images....
As I've been watching a lot of YouTube, a great deal of that has been trying to catch up on Crash Course U.S. History. Below is something I wrote on my Facebook after watching one of the episodes.
Executive Order 9066 in February 1942 expelled all persons of Japanese descent from the west. As a result of this order more 110,000 people were sent to internment camps. Think about it. While we were fighting a war and in horror of camps in other lands we were heading down that road ourselves.
If the war had lasted longer how far would we have went? Oh, and for anyone who doesn't think this could happen today and to them or their families. In 2012 and 2013 we had politicians at different times say this would be a good idea for the sick, the poor, and for those from "unaligned nations."
History teaches us lessons but its up to use to learn from them.
This is a look at one of the many ways corporations just don't understand modern forms of entertainment. Not that they really ever have. Same when they buy stuff like My Space or Live Journal or Tumblr and wonder why the numbers start to drop.
I love that some things don't change. Such as people telling you how to "do" the internet correctly.
"You don't heart those type of Tumblr entries, you reblog those."
It's like telling someone you can't put mustard on the sandwich you just made for yourself. If it's your mustard and your sandwich do what you want with it. I made a t-shirt today after one a few comments came in about doing the internet wrong. It's better than me ranting and rambling on and on and on and on and on and on about it.
On the 22nd of this month I restart the monthly Tin Universe series with Tin Universe #12.
And to end things, reminder that yesterday I posted about another of my monthly series for 2014 in Generation Of A God. You can find out all about it here at the God Mark website.

Shamelessly Promoting After Taking A Few Days Off
I've gotten advice from both sides telling me this isn't the way to promote my book. Some saying I shouldn't be doing things this way on my blog, that its best just to release your book and let things fall how they are going to fall but my response is always what then, am I suppose to just hope people walk across it surfing the net? This is about using tools that are available and more important free, to get word out. It's also about learning as you go. The second one there is why I never get angry when people give me advice. If you have spoken to me about different ways of promoting then I'm always grateful for those words but if you only say YOUR DOING BLOGGER WRONG, YOUR DOING TWITTER WRONG, SELF-PUBLISHING ISN'T REAL PUBLISHING then ok, you do it your way, I'll do it mine. As the great poet said "Will Smith doesn't have to cuss in his rap to sell records. Well I do. So fuck him and fuck you too."
Then you have those who say that I should go further, that I should do spam emails, I should create fake reviews, I should blah blah blah. I'm doing things as they feel right to me and spamming doesn't feel right. Just not at all. It's badgering people. Like the homophobic assholes asking for money in front of Wal-Mart during this time of year and the jerkwoods shouting at you to buy their phones in the mall.
I wont even mention the whole fake reviews thing because that just boggles my mind. I know its been going on for a really long time, way way way before the internet, and pointing the finger at self-publishes for this when they are just following the big publishers paved way of doing things is bullshit, but...nope, sorry, not my thing. Also the way I am I'd probably give myself more bad reviews than good. That's just how my brain works.
With further honesty I will tell you if I had more people reading my blog I probably wouldn't do these blog posts but as I said, I'm just doing what feels right to me right now and what I can with the resources I have. In the end if I'm not doing the internet "right" I'm the one who has to go to jail for Holy Internet Law Violations.
I came here to pimp so lets get to it some of that. In the Tin Universe store you can get notebooks with the covers for Tin Universe Middle Grade Series #1 on it. I can't wait until I get the chance to order one of each of these for myself.
There are also a lot more Tin Universe materials in that store, many featuring the covers to my new book coming out on the 22nd of this month. It will be available for download on my Smashwords store for $1.00 per download. Like I've said before if you buy something from one of my stories I'll email you a PDF of Tin Universe Middle Grade Series #1 for free. All you need to do is put STORE ORDER RECEIPT in the subject box of an email with a copy of your order confirmation attached and send to hangofwednesday@gmail.com
An update on the 2014 releases. For right now there will be two releases per month in 2014. I say for now because if I find a day job, waiting for a call about one today as I type this, some rescheduling will probably take place.
The Tin Universe monthly series will restart in January as planned now. If you want to check out past Tin Universe stories go here.
Also starting in January is the start of the God Mark website monthly series. The series will consist of a series of comic book pages posting one per month. If you want to check out more past God Mark related stories go here.
In November of 2014 there will be a number of website pinup releases from what me and artist friends are calling Artists And Writers Drunken Brainstorming Sessions. This is something I'd like to do with different artists every year if I can.
And then in December we will come to the next book in the Tin Universe Middle Grade Series but before we get to that, see below.

Now That November Is Over
Now that NaNo is over and once again the fun of doing NaNoWriMo has not only given me a lot of energy to write 50,000 plus words in one month, it also has shoved down my throat energy for months of writing and fighting and telling people to fuck off and yes, even, a little hope in the new year.

This month I wont be online in a way that people will notice much, beside random Twitter posts, and will be focused in December on getting everything ready for the release of Tin Universe Middle Grade Series #1.
Writing my first middle grade book came at a point when I was working on an adult book and over and over I moved back seven steps and forward two and nothing was coming from it so I decided to just sit in a corner in one of our local libraries the way all my writing first started and what I wrote over that day as I filled a notebook was what would become the first book in the Tin Universe middle grade series.
Funny how things happen that way when writing. I had tried so many times in the past to write a middle grade book but it just never worked out. Hell, The Past Forward started out that way and ended up becoming a YA book when I finished it.
I think this book might be the most fun I've ever had writing and it also adds to the regular Tin Universe line of books so even though its a middle grade series written for younger readers if you are a following of the Tin Universe stories and you OLD you will still get something from reading these books.
The 22nd of December is both my birthday and more importantly when I have released my books in the past. With Stereo, The Past Forward, and now with the first Mildred Betbeze book its me once again remarking the day to mean something to me.
At least I think its when I have released them?
Remembering wrong is a regular ramble for me these days.
One of the things I've been working on of late is new merchandise designs for new stores at Zazzle. I'm creating a store for all the materials coming out in 2014. Below are a couple things so go buy. The stores don't have a ton of stuff right now but that will change as new merch is released every month in 2014 the same time as stories are released.
Remember these items, they make good Christmas gifts or birthday gifts if if you are also so cursed to have a December birthday.
Become a walking billboard for me :)
Also also the pennies they'll help me do selfish things like go to the doctor or buy medicines or corn dogs. CORN DOGS ARE SO IMPORTANT!
Also also also if you buy something from one of my stories I'll email you a PDF of Tin Universe Middle Grade Series #1 for free. All you need to do is put STORE ORDER RECEIPT in the subject box of an email with a copy of your order confirmation attached and send to hangofwednesday@gmail.com
And since over the past few years I've gotten requests to turn some of the crazy that pukes from me on Twitter and Facebook into things to sale I created a miscellaneous System Productions store which offers such things as the below poster:
