Under The Training Book: Reality Beards, Alan Moore's Sad, And Couple In Trouble

There are just some days when you want to watch the wor....watch veins pop out through the foreheads of assholes. With me that's every time I get together with family...or Mar's family.... or friends.... or strangers who send me long, really really long rant filled emails.

Wait? What? But reality?
Liking things that aren't real is fine. It's the basis of every religion in the world and some really bad porn but being delusional to stuff like this is stupid. You there sending my inbox emails with Bible quotes with camo backgrounds, you are stupid and you are making the rest of humanity look bad defending reality TV and it's rich asswhipes like these pricks. You know whats the difference between the the Kardashians and the Duck Dynasty family.... NOTHING YOU DIPSHIT!!!

    Dipshits in beards.

I've gone from not liking what Alan Moore has to say to thinking what he says is the state of sad voice of creativity that no one gives a shit about anymore. He no longer has movies being made from his books to ramble about, he no longer has Before Watchmen to ramble about, he no longer can act like he has been harmed worse than any other creator in comics history to ramble about, and so now he's playing these are my enemies and they have harmed me in some way. Sad.

    Speaking of sad.

Yesterday cat under foot caused burger in the air and said face on me  I admit I thought for a second, no one else is around, five second rule and all that. I was pissed to throw away a nice uneaten burger because Salem's an asshole. Garfield and him went straight for it and I picked up the still really hot burger right before kitty met noms. Garfield is pretty much blind as a bat but his burger radio skills are crack on.

Mar and I have developed crack skills at being smartasses with each other online.

Mar and I sometimes get into usual conversation on Facebook. Example is the following:
It's her living space and looks cool. Not really that much money when you research renovation and building costs. And it's her money people. Hell, Mar in a second would have a Hobbit house if we could afford it and put a police box in front of a garage to create a TARDIS office for me.
Mar: I am not letting a TARDIS fuck up my hobbit house. Unacceptable.
Me: Remember we talked about this. The TARDIS would be in front as the door to go into the outback yard garage.
Mar: Ew. No. We talked. We did not agree. Nope. Build your own imaginary house.
Me: Listen you and your too long to read books and nothing but walking movies should know their place and get on board some really storytelling.
     Mar:  "some really storytelling"?
Me: Really good, you Hobbit Nazi
Mar posted this image from one of her favorite movies.
And this image Harry Potter
Me: Lord of the Rings fan =
Me: Doctor Who fan =
Me: You were just served.
Mar: matt smith has not eyebrows. unacceptable.
I posted this
Mar: Nope. Star Wars, not Who. Doesn't count.
Me: Both better than Lord Of The Rings
     Mar: NOPE
Me: Star Wars, better than Lord Of The Rings. Doctor Who, better than Lord Of The Rings. Oh, and Titanic, most overrated movie in the history of history.
Since her lunch break was over and she I had to get back to work I WON!!!

Go over to my Tumblr were I usually keep things pretty light and talk about TV shows I've watched, movies, and sometimes roller derby madness. Right now I'm on a kick of watching the first episodes of shows picked on Netflix at random.

Also check out my Twitter for a lot of brain leakage.

I haven't had one soda to start the new year but these headaches are making me weak willed and pissed off and ready to write really long blog entries.

Under The Training Book: Eating In The Bathroom, Games, And Character Names

We had to start feeding Salem in another room because he was taking Garfield's food. He had always tried to take Garfield's food in the past, but now since Garfield is fully blind he muscles his way in even if he hasn't finished his own food and then he goes back and eats his own bowls worth too because after being moved away from his Garfield would just go lay down somewhere nearby.
Salem wouldn't eat in the bedroom, don't know why, probably because it's too messy, he's a weird cat who doesn't like walking on things that are on the floor; so we had to put his food and him in the bathroom until Garfield has finished eating.
He eats in there fine and everyone is getting their noms in good amounts, though in the morning he hates when we turn on the shower and he's having his breakfast. It doesn't stop him from eating, and now that he is bathroom eating Garfield finishes his food but also now Salem thinks every time we go into the bathroom we are getting him food.
     Cats....
With Salem, every time you go into the kitchen he's all FOOD? FOOD? FOOD? and now the bathroom also equals FOOD? FOOD? FOOD? There is no place safe that this cat doesn't think involves food.

Transitions, I don't need no stinking transitions.

Frank Thomas, Greg Maddux, and Tom Glavine have been selected to go into the baseball hall of fame. One White Sox and two Braves. Yes, sorry Cubs, Maddux made his mark as a Brave. Don't blame Braves fans for claiming him. It was your owner who didn't think he was worth that much money and let him leave.
One of the best hitters and the two best pitchers I've ever seen going into the Hall Of Fame. Now everyone knows I don't think much of the baseball hall of fame... or any Hall Of Fame for that matter besides being good tourist attractions. Just a bunch of dip shit sports writers trying to play opinion moral games instead of focusing in on what happen on the field but this is a really good class of players.
Players going into the Hall Of Fame that started in my generation really makes me feel old.
     Mar-"You are almost 40."
     ............

Last night I watched Bounty Killers after making tomato soup with tuna grilled cheese for dinner. It was ok. If you're just looking for a low budget mindless action shoot'em up with some cool visuals and touches here and there give it a look. I watched it on Netflix.

I always get comments that I should blog more about writing. I've said it in the past and its still true. I feel weird talking a ton about writing because there's always this voice in the back of my head that says, "What do you know, big failure you are." so I don't really do it much. I consider myself a work in progress from day to day as a writer so what works for me today might not work tomorrow. What I think is right in the way I write might be proven wrong to me or I might have finally learned a lesson long in process and change.
I do love talking about writing though but when you have several friends in publishing, two very good writers and one very good editor you sometimes feel like your in a room of geniuses talking about the nature of the cosmos and your views mainly come from what you have learned watching Doctor Who
But after saying that people online yesterday were discussing character names and how you approach them and it made me think of something from my college days. I had teacher once who said I was lazy because I pick character names randomly for the most part. I call it getting on with things.
In most cases the most thought I put into characters names is trying not to use the same ones more than once but that usually doesn't work out to my constant anger. I need to create myself a character database. Maybe if I get this job I'm waiting to hear back about I'll freelance that out to someone else. At least I'm not as bad as when I was in high school when every story would have a character named Brian in it :)

Below is a sticker I designed for the release of Tin Universe Middle Grade Series #1. I designed it thinking it could be cut into five different stickers. Two Tin Universe logo ones on each side and the middle book sicker. I think I might do this with future bumper sticker designs also so people get more for their money.

Under The Training Book: Strange Brew, Old Assholism, And Sneaky YouTube

Peoples yesterday some old lady just walked up to me and told me I was being irresponsible out in shorts in this weather. What the fu? "Young people like you want to gripe about getting health insurance but don't want to take care of yourself." Again, What the fu?
I was, you know, out there in the wild looking for trouble. Or maybe taking out the trash, either way I was a menace to society in a My Chemical Romance hoodie, work boots, and desert camo shorts.
This is the same old lady by the way who followed me back to our apartment one day from the mail boxes shouting about my Planned Parenthood shirt.
Ok, one, this weather isn't bad for someone with a roof over their head. It's Florida after all. The people who don't have a home are those who are in danger from the cold. But they are invisible and don't' count, right?
And two, mind your own business lady. Some of the older people who live in our complex are always commenting on my shirts and other things. There is no such thing as old style racism or assholism as a excuse for peoples behavior.

After my adventures in taking out the garbage I watched Spaceballs and ate steamed broc. I day it like a highroller! While watching the movie a thought came into my mind, you know what movie I need on dvd? Strange Brew. I love that movie and haven't seen it in years. I use to watch it every chance I had when we had HBO when I was in high school.

Speaking of things from my youth. If you are or were a pro-wrestling fan you should check out the documentary GLOW: The Story Of The Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling. I watched it on Netflix streaming so if you have that service, check it out.

I'll end this with a weird based on me probably, more than like, fat fingering a button somewhere. I didn't somehow notice but along the way YouTube has created two accounts for me and I have some stuff subscribed on one and some on the other. No a huge deal since both are tied to one email account but one is my email and the other my name? I fails the internet test once again.

I created the below travel journal at 4am as a migraine and too much thinking was keeping me from sleep. I have a bunch of merchandise materials I want to turn into projects so you will see new things here whenever I post. Creating stuff in my Zazzle stores are sort of my crafting side so to speak. Another creative outlet.

Under The Training Book: Evil Baby Orphanage, Pringles, and Yes Yes Yes

Last night I was up all night with a bad stomach. I mean my stomach is very much a rusted old bucket. If I get this job I'm waiting to hear back about I'm going to go for a complete check up as soon as possible but I know its going to be a long list, all dot matrix style, of things wrong with me.
By long nights and multiple bathroom visits afterwards I know I can no longer eat cheese or ice cream or potato chips or tea or fast food or soda or coffee.
You know, anything interesting or fun or that tastes good.
After a doctors checkup they will probably tell me I can't eat anything except rice cakes and drink water. In that case a national emergency might have to be declared for everyones protection.

When I got up from a couple hours sleep I put in Clatterford: Season Three from the library and started working on a story in a notebook that twisting up in me. After I get in some good pages in that I'm going to clean the apartment, do some laundry, make some ghetti for lunch, and start work on another story on the laptop.

I think Evil Baby Orphanage Card Game should be our next game to buy for Sunday Night Movie Night after we master Last Night On Earth. There's also a Evil Baby Orphanage Nerdfighteria Expansion Deck. Or maybe get Gloom. I've never played Gloom but love what I've seen of it.

I would kill for some Pringles.
Or is that some Pringles could kill me?
Either way, I want some Pringles.

Ok, off to write and stuff.

Maybe watch a couple YouTube videos first though.... *Bad Writer! SMACK!!!*

A friend wanted me to use one of my photos she liked to make her a iPod classic case. Here it is for sale if you need a new case for that classic iPod, which most could go for a new case maybe this one would be right for you too.

Coming January 22nd

Where I spotlight a old release and talk about Chick fil A and other crazy shit.

I'm going to try and make every Tuesday a spotlight day for a past releases. Yes I know its Thursday but so much shit has been going on from car problems to other things my regular blogging hasn't been so much regular of late.
Hope to get back to a normal schedule next week of: Monday-Video Game Blog Entry, Tuesday-Past Releases, Wednesday-Reviews, and Thursday-Million Dollar 99 Cents{a Tumblr project with a group of friends} And then Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as always are me trying to stay off the net and write prose only days.
This week I'm putting the first Turtle Edge story A Selection Of Spirit: Teacher's Pet in the spotlight. I wrote this script as part of a television pitch back when I was in college and then sat on it for a long time. The suits I pitched it too wanted a low budget supernatural show but thought this was too "redneck" and not enough "Buffy like." I still have the email exchanges. Looking back at it you can very much see the Buffy influences on it so I don't really think they ever watched the slayer in action. This was also the time of my life as a writer where I got chances but I refused to move an inch on creative changes when asked. No regrets except for when I look at my wallet but I wasn't ready then at all for success or to produce a good regular creative product.
I decided to release the first script and materials to see if anyone has interest in reading more from this universe. I love these characters and hope other people enjoy their stories.

This pilot television script is the beginning of a story of friendship, redemption, and the sorrowful truth that sometimes no matter how hard we try we can not make up for the choices we have made in the past.

CHECK OUT SOME COOL LINKS:
Started the morning listening to Girl On Guy with Aisha Tyler and Rupaul.

RANTS AND SCREAMS:
I love that people have started saying "religious liberty is under attack" by people being angry with Chick-fil-A. One, you mean your religious liberty, lets be honest. Hell with the attacks on Muslims or any other religion in this country. Two, are you kidding me? Chick-fil-A's religious nature as a business  was only a matter of jokes from time to time but the more people found out about their prejudice homophobia, that's when peoples anger grew. I'm not even a person to call for boycotts of the company or the like. Take that energy and put it into grass roots activism I say. But please media, please Christians, trying to paint Chick-fil-A as any sort of victim shows you just don't understand the root of that word. Which seems to be a stupidity a lot of religions share. Chick-fil-A never hid who they were. If they are now acting like they are being wronged that sounds a little like their faith is weakening. Sounds pretty weak to me. Just stand by your words.
This is one step closer to our past. People like to say a step closer to the Hunger Games because that's cool to say but death, real death for entertainment is very much a part of humanities history and never really have gone away. It may have been tamed and went underground in ways but its always been here around and within us all. Plus this is kind of an insult to the real military to even mention reality with this type of program but its a propaganda show and we all know it. NBC's Stars Earn Stripes might be the bastard child of The Hunger Games, Idiocracy, and Tropic Thunder - Boing Boing
The postal service is such an really important part of how our country operates the fact that so many people don't care about it shows two things about our country. One, that people are really stupid about how our country works and two, that so many people do understand how our country works and how the postal service going away would damage small business and the ever day citizen but they still don't care because that wouldn't effect them or their brethren. Postal Service Defaults, Congress Does Nothing
Yesterday we went to pick up Mar's car. Paid them and it broke down before we got out of our parking space. That was the cock tease of car repairs. After looking the car over and taking some things apart they told her the timing belt broke between test drive after repairs and us getting here. It sound fishy but we talked about it and both of us actually believe them. They said it would be $500 more to get this fixed. You know what yesterday and today, you can just fuck yourself! Might just be cheaper to have it towed home and sale it for parts.
Where is the best place to sale dvds, books, magazines, and the like? I'm going to be saling all my stuff. Need to raise money fast. People keep telling me eBay but before I start doing anything I want to gather information for a few days. We have a trip coming up we paid for last year. To cancel now would loose most of the money plus Mar needs the trip so bad. This car mess had destroyed everything we had saved even before yesterday; so no money for new car, no money for doctor, and no money for trip. And me not working makes everything worse than it should be. I can't find work, writing is only producing pennies- so I need to produce somehow and books and dvds are just things.
Add to yesterdays bullshit our apartment complex called and asked if we plan to sign a new lease. Me-"We did. Two months ago" That's twice they've called and asked that since we signed the new lease. Tired of this place. I think its run by chimps and populated mainly by hipster assholes who think they don't have to act like others are living around them. Now to post this and go over and yell at them for a while because stupidity gives out a bit of mistrust in my eyes.

Where I rere-release a old poetry collection, cool links, and for some reason no rants?

Presents:

I haven't released anything in a while so I thought I'd rerelease one of my old LuLu poetry collections on my new projects home at Smashwords. Hope you enjoy NEW EPISODE. Oh, did I mention it's free. Yes, free unless you want to pay for it. You know tip the jar so to speak. Below is one of the poems within the collection.

BOMB
Bombing for Christ,
Bombing for hate,
Bombing to push back the wait,
Bombing for joy,
Bombing for pain,
Bombing to drawn out the rain,
Bombing for war,
Now there is growth,
Bombing is just the truth,
Bombing to cut,
Bombing to kill,
Murder in a military dressed up drill,
Bombing is fun,
Bomb out the sun,
See the darkness,
Who won?

And if your want to check out all my poetry releases and any poetry news about future collections and the like check out the Bloodwaste Books blog. I'm going to post poems there from times to time. It will be the home of all my poetry related projects.

Check out some cool links:

I really need to get back into reading the webcomics I love and checking out more. I haven't so I'll try and share some of what I like today:  Dork Tower is one of my favorite webcomics even if as I've said before sometimes I just don't get the game references. This one deals with the whole mess of how women characters are portrayed in fiction and a good simple way to test how you should approach ideas. Moon Freight 3 is a favorite. Gronk A Monster's Story takes a look at internet comments.
I'm really looking forward to the new Judge Dredd movie. Love the character and it has people in it I like a lot.
I don't know if I like this because it would probably mean an end to Iron Man: Armored Adventures. I like that show. A thousand times better CGI animated show than Green Lantern. Disney Mulling Iron Man Cartoon
