THE TITLE IS: UNDERSTANDING

During the past few days I have been thinking a lot about what friendships mean to me. One of the things I think is most important to a friendship is understanding. How can you love someone without understanding them? How can you be there for someone when they may need you if you do not understand them? How can you cry for someone unless you understand them? Now we as human beings can not ever fully know each other completly but understanding has nothing to do with completness(sp?) or knowing. Understanding is something else because knowing and completness(sp?) is about self to the other. Understanding is putting yourself in the shoes of the other who you love. It's not a seperate action its an action of one.

I love my friends. My Soul Friends are my family. I try my best to understand them. I'm in a mood I get in from time to time when I need to say I love you to my friends. Some read this blog, most probably do not even know about it. But still understanding is also about reaching out.

Brave Summers, Oracle, July, Mo, Shortfrie, Alia Sun, Robin Bird, Wave, Des, Calm, Ghost, Speede, and Tankgirl. I love each one of you and my love in trying to understand you is my fight for you and I will fight for those I love until my dying breath.

Remember not knowing who you are is not excuse for not being who you are,

THE TITLE IS: FRIDGES ENOUGH FOR ME

I'm make this short since I'm not feeling that well today.

After a interesting night of being sick and others being sick, Someone casting down some nasty stuff on some Christmas decorations, and me spending the early morning hours watching a, As Time Goes On, marathon with the two sets I have three other sets on leave from the library.

Then I spent the rest of the morning and early day watching, That 70's Show, on DVD with Robin and I am slowly making it through the tons of stacks of notebooks of stories, moving them over onto the computer.

During the day I went over to the complex offices and got a copy of our lease and also told them about our leaking refrigrator. They came over to look at it and said they needed to replace it. They did so. And now we have a new one but I got in trouble for throwing away some things that were not spoiled yet. Hey, I can't be left alone I guess.

Then when Mar got home we went out for Sonic, I almost throw Robin through a wall when I was trying to hit the bed with her, and surfed the net for a bit.

That was my day. Loads of the high adrenline life style I live.

Remember not knowing who you are is no excuse for not being who you are,

THE TITLE IS: GROWING UP PUSSY

Robin, I can not wait until the pagan tree decorating happens. I will be there with my badly dressed poor self. Will it be the The Caveman, The Hillybilly, The Model, and The Rage once again for all the fun?

Touch, You asked about the poster to the right of my Avengers poster? The big one is some short of tribal warrior print, I don't know the artist, I picked it up at the mall once. The print was only like 15dollars but the framing cost me some where around 80. Though this was back in my Program Planner days when I had lots of cash. If you was speaking of the smaller one? That is a framed print of a peice of art and a poem by Neil Gaiman about 911.

Robin and Mr. ECFPC rescused this stray and found it a home. Right now it's sitting on our balcony until the person who is taking it comes to pick it up.

On the writing front. I am finishing up the final touches on the 2nd Draft of Stereo this week. Then it will go back to the editor for another polish and then it will be very much as it will be seen when it finally becomes a book.

My neck and back are much better but I think I maybe at the age were a injury like these may stay around lingering and hurting for a while after the main injury pains go away. I also recently discovered that I can not sleep on pain killers and so if I take them near bed time I have to let the effects wear off before going to bed which makes taking them sort of useless because one of the few reasons I do take them is so I can sleep past all the pains that hurt right now?

THE TITLE IS: MAR, WAL-MART, DOUGLAS ADAMS, ROBIN BIRD, LEMONY SNICKET-HERE'S YOUR TABS

They released Mar's mom from the hospital today. Don't know if they actually know what was wrong with her but they do not think it was a heart attack. She's nice so I hope she feels better. Last night after I left work I went to stop and get milk and stuff for Mar since she has been running all over the place since her mom got sick. I stopped at a gas station, a Wal-Mart, and another Wal-Mart before I found that I still could not find the milk she likes so I just got some low fat milk, some cracker things she likes, a bottled coffee drink she likes, and a salad for her lunch tomorrow. I drove home and nearly got lost in the bad part of town which in Melbourne is most of the place before I got home to find Mar had not went to bed yet because she wasn't sleepy. I started taking the stuff I bought out of the bag to find I left one of my bags at Wal-Mart. I'm such a dumb ass. Luckily I got the main stuff she wanted but the salad and the stuff I got for my lunch today was left behind.

This quote is so me from one of my favorite writers when describing one of his characters:
He attacked everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence, and it was often difficult to tell which was which.
- - - Douglas Adams

Robbin,
I don't write that creative sober. Give me some of that wine.

Will have the 2nd Draft of the book finished up and ready to go to the editor this Saturday and so between finishing up this draft and doing all the pay the rent work stuff I need to get done I'm going to be a busy bee between now and then.

Need to setup a full budget and work on it every check. Spending too much money and with all the things going on I need to keep track of every cent to make sure something does not fall through the cracks somewhere.

What else is going on? Oh, Mar checked out, The End: A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket for me so I'm reading that now. Danced through a quarter of the book today laying on the bed with Mar laying beside me reading a book also. Nakered reading. You should try it. I would do a link, to the book, not the naked reading, perverts! but my head is killing me right now and linking will not help and I'm only doing things right now that will help. Argo(urgosp? whatever) I'm banging my head against the desk. Not really. Actually I'm drinking a Pepsi, just watched Robin Bird go out the door, and trying to wad through a bunch of e-mails to decide what I'm going to do which will piss off this group of people and what I am not going to do which will piss of another group of people. "It pays the rent Brian, It pays the rent." Once I finish reading The End I will do up a review for it and which will be posted in a future Sunday review post. See. I'm actually making a effort to make the reviews a weekly feature here. I have written hand written right now, purchased a journal just for writing those so I will be a couple ahead when I start posting them here. That will work for me against my laziness.

Just remember, Not knowing who you are is no excuse for not being who you are,

THE TITLE IS:ONCE I WAS LOST BUT THEN I FOUND MYSELF and it felt good...

bI have not spoken here much about writing of late. Really to be honest I have not been doing much writing the past two months. Just recently though I came into contact with an artist and we will be working on a project together within my company structure, hopefully several projects together and that has given me new energy towards my own work on the book also. I am currently finishing up the 2nd Draft of the book which should be finished before the end of the month. Then it will be turned over to an editor who hopefully will tare it apart in good ways so I can put it back together and get it out into the hands of readers.

Nothing new to announce company wise either, except that the first project we should be producing appears in my eyes to be something special. But that project is in the early early planning stages but talking to the artist involved has me nothing but excited about seeing it start to mature into the actual production stage of things.

I had the weekend off from the pay the rent job and spent it for the most part spending way too much money. Stops off at BooksAMillion, Hot Topic, and other places had me a little tapped for cash when you throw in business spending also. Got the first bath of character sketches from a artist I'm working with and also put aside money for an editor when I find the right one for the book. Wave picked up what she needed for a costume she will be wearing, and not just for Halloween but that is for her to reveal. I was sad though because besides going as a vampire there really is not much of a choice for what to dress up as for someone without any front teeth. I was even thinking of going as Doctor Who but I don't know. Just something else to make me depressed about being a toothless wonder. Cry me a river later, I know, Poor me.

Speaking of crying. Paris Hilton. Enough said. Here is the truth. I enjoyed seeing that and so did a lot of you. Admit it. We hate human suffering except when it hits those we do not like very much. It has to be a terrible experience for her being she has never went through something like this before that is that much out of her control and that sheriff did her no favors. He pulled her out of jail and put her at home where she probably felt safe as most of us do at home but then she was jerked back to jail. The person I hate in all of this is that sheriff. Paris deserved what she got but she did not deserve to be put in this struggle between figures of power them being the sheriff and the judge. Hopefully she will come out of this a better person but I do not really belive that. Sorry just my view. Here is my advice, Paris at least have someone drive you places. Hell, if I had her money my ass would never drive myself anywhere. The main difference would be me having a driver driving me around in a pick up truck instead of a limo. Not that I usually drive anywhere not but for work but that is because my truck is a piece of shit.

Oh, and as for comments left here and elsewhere.

Mar,
You really should not talk about such sinful things. Go ask for forgiv....Sorry, could not even complete that. Johnny is hot but come on Orlando is just a classic Hollywood screen idol.

Robbin,
Glade I did something that made you feel funny in your pants. And I do belive that maybe the most non meaning to be but turned out to be perverted thing I have ever written.
I haven't purchased the GGP's CD. I thought I would give them a shout out so to speak anyways. I plan to but keep forgetting every time I get paid and before you know it, no money left. :(
John needs to update his site. His fans are demanding it! :) John needs to ready this blog because I need fans :(

Is there any news outside Paris? Lets see.

Turkey Shells Northern Iraq
Tension remains high on the border of Iraq and Turkey. The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has accused Turkey of intensively shelling Kurdish areas in northern Iraq. The shelling reportedly caused wide fires and large amounts of damage. Meanwhile four Turkish soldiers were killed in a roadside bomb 45 miles north of the border.
Turkey
Who else sees this as one of the signs of the whole region turning into one large cluster fuck? Thanks George, grateful to you for making the world safer for all of us.

Computer has locked up again. And once again on Neil Gaiman's site. I think this computer has a thing for him. That or it just loves reading about his new dog.

The computer is now unstuck but it closed down all my browser windows while doing so. Be right back, have to open up a lot of things again I was working on.

While the computer is running slower than my brain early in the morning I will mention that starting this Sunday I will start posting reviews here of books, movies, and such I have watched, read, or such. I wish to start doing this for two fold reasons. One, it will stretch some writing muscles I usually tend not to work out that often and two, I think it might be a fun way to introduce some people to some things I enjoy. Ok, with that being said do not look for any New York Times sort of reviews. One these reviews will be honest, the Times hasn't been that in years and these will be my spoiler free thoughts of things I have recently purchased, borrowed, five fingered, or checked out at the library....ok, no five fingering action but it fit in the list I was making and I was on a role. I hope everyone enjoys them though and I hope you find something to enjoy through me writing them. The first review will be on Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman: Derailed by Peter David. See you on Sunday for the review. Hope you enjoy.

'Gay Bomb'
**Shakes head** **Bangs head against desk** Ok, I think I'm officially going nuts. Did I just read that. I found this on Warren Ellis site.

I think I will stop the online surfing before I run into something that really pisses me off. Plus, I want to work on the book tonight. Maybe hit at least three chapters before the night ends.

THE TITLE IS: ANSWERING THE BIRD SONG

Robbin,
A squared off event horizon is just my way of saying all perception is reality distorted. I know that probably did nothing but confuse you more about what I meant but hey, Mar goes through this all the time just talking to me about anything. So feel lucky you can't have to try to understand me that much.

My job is my job. It is a means to my broader goals. I maybe here years or just for a short period. That's life but I'm taking this experience which you are right at this moment I get little fulfillment from in the ways I need from a job but I am taking what I am learning here and will craft that into my goals and reaches for later in life. Funny how we do stress ourselves mostly about things that are either not worth it or not anything we can control. My work ethic is simple. Try to do your job the best you can and always be moving forward advancing in the job world you find yourself in and also in the world of just learning new things. Crazy thing is I don't hate my job and trully the only things I do not like are things I mostly can not control like others work ethics.

Being there on that beach watching the women I love more than anything else standing there as the waves hit her and the moon light shinned down upon her presance was enough for that little bit of time, just enough to show me why life is worth living.

AND THE TITLE IS: WHO’S BETTER THAN CANON?!

My last thought last night when leaving work at around 1am was,
“At least I don’t have to worry about Robin stealing my Slim Jim’s”

My first thought when coming into work today was,
“Why aren’t more people like Robin because I’M READY TO THROW SOFT TOY DUCKS AT SOME OF THESE SLACK OFFS!”

Mar? Put that on our to do list. Clone Robin! The world needs more Robin’s.

My current thoughts at work are,
“Wonder if I went home, would anyone notice? Damn me for being responsible!”

From Work Whining To Responses To Comments Left:

Love you Mar. Just needed to say it and it sort of fitted here nice and neat on its own.

Geek Speak:

Went to a bookstore today. They had a three for two deal on all comic trade paper backs. I picked up this and this and this and thisoops, this and this and this and finally this. The last one being one I will be donating to the local library for their YA section because the library does not have it and I think it should. After my book buying we stopped of at a clothing store for Wave and then we stopped off and picked up some clearance cloths at our favorite clearance clothing place for both of us before heading back and myself, I headed straight into work so I did not get a chance to read any of my new stuff yet. It was either spend $60 bucks on some trades or I was going to blow $200+ on a iPod. I think my bank account, if I actually had one, won on my choice. And yes I understand that is just rationalizing. My brain, my sanity. I might write some reviews as I read these but probably wont so don‘t expect anything.

FinishedThe Hardcore Diaries last night. Not as good as Mick Foley’s first two books but I did not know he had written two novels also so I will have to see if I can find those somewhere to check them out.

Back To Reality:

I typed up the first chapter of the second book in the book series that I’m currently working on the first book of last night. Now if that is not confusing enough I already wrote the first three chapters of book five in the series. All being done because I have to get certain future things in line for some characters in book one to make sure it flows correctly to the other books. Maybe not the best way to do things but it is my madness to play with. Besides the first book will be sort of a world building story and the rest are stand alone stories but because they exist in the same world they effect each other. And then only the last five are truly a continued story. Also each book moves forward in time so things need to march ahead correctly or I will kill myself being the canon geek that I am.

I give you a good night with this. Two sexy ladies there.

Currently reading Hardcore Diaries. Mar picked it up for me at the library the other day. At the moment I’m listening to Reprieve by Ani Difranco, which I ripped to my MP3 player from Mar’s CD. See how there is a connection thing going on there. I think we maybe dating.

Myself and Wave went over and did the hanging out with good people thing with Robin Bird.

Hey, Robbin. You said you may stop by the blog so I just wanted to say thank you for inviting us over. We always like visiting. With all of our hectic schedules it is hard to find time to just be with friends; so, it was great getting to spend time with wine, conversation, and Playboys! Sorry if I ran my mouth too much. See what happens when you give me drinks. Next thing you know I’m seeing Pirates and putting Data into Christ like posses.

Robin is one of those rare people who come into your life who you get the pleasure to call friend. And you know what? It is not about what they do for you or anything of the like. Some friends, those who last past heated conversations, distance of time and well distance in distance apart, those friends enrich you life by being part of your life. They create good memories you walk around with, they deepen your steps through life. You do not need great relationships of love and friendship to live a fulfilling life I think but it sure does make life better for it. Our, Wave and myself, Our growing friendship with Robin is such as this, an enhancement to our lives.

As to Free Comic Book Day, Wave was not feeling well so she could not make a trip over to the local shop to pick me up some freebies, which was good since when I got home we just chilled and spent time together which we do not get the chance to do that often. Before heading out to Robbin Bird’s place I went and picked up Chinese for us as well as a Coke for dinner for Wave and a iced coffee for her later.

I’m falling asleep at the key board now so I give you a good day with this.

NASA HAS BREASTS WHICH SUCK INTO THE BLACK HOLE

How do you know you are addicted to something? Lets think about this. If you don’t get your fix you get- headaches, Check. Stomach sickness, Check. Easily lured into bad moods, Oh, Hot Damm Yes! Check! Check! Check! Hi, My name is Brian and if I do not get a Pepsi soon someone on this planet…more than likely in this state will feel my pain.

And in the news!

A hot young lady just brought me a burger, fries, and Pepsi. The planet is saved. Tell Al Gore he can go home now. The Queen will probably be there stalking him in his closet.

Warren "Anti-CopernicaChisum"
Still, it's enough to set the world a-spinning that the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, the most powerful committee in the House, distributed to legislators a memo pitching crazed wingers who believe the earth stands still -- doesn't spin on its axis or revolve around the Sun -- that Copernicus was part of a Jewish conspiracy to undermine the Old Testament. That would be the same Old Testament that was written by the folks Chisum's friends say are conspiring to undermine it.
Found here.
God?…Fonzie?… Someone up there please tell me this is a joke? My head is already killing me. People in this country making Brian’s head almost explode.

NASA's plan for unstable astronauts: Duct tape, tranquilizers
Those silly NASA people
Robin Bird might like this one also. This being about her believing in black hole type persons. Hey, I duck taped my brother to the bed once while he was sleeping. It works to subdue the insane and stupid. And in his case…MOVING ON! Damm, I could feel my mom slapping me in the back of the head from Virginia to here in Florida.

BREASTS!!! Oops, Sorry. That’s the power of the internet. Never know what you will see and when. Now where was I? And to point I was looking for information on how to make my Scandisk MP3 Player delete and right there they where….I hate the internet, “Wave can we get the net at home now?”

So heading into the weekend I have these things to look forward to: Saturday work, try to find some time for writing, Try to find some time for snuggling, Try to find some time for reading, Sunday work, and try to find some time for sleeping…Fucker Bush better not start another war over the weekend

VIVA THE VAGINA!!!
Maybe that should be my new sign off catch phrase?
Maybe not…

STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE WEARING BLACK…INSANITY!

Will I ever have the chance or money for that matter to once again add to my addiction?

On the plate right now with my new responsibilities at work and our big pressures growing here, to my truck, to trying to get enough money together to get insurance on it in my name totally, to trying to find somewhere better and move, to me trying to get that writing project going, to me trying to get writing submissions out, to keeping up with my blog which does mean a lot to me.... And somewhere in there I'm suppose to eat, do laundry, not be a slob around the apartment because I know I am, spend time with the lady I love who I love so much she will never know how much, shower, shit, and maybe even shave. Oh, forgot to piss and piss off people. The last being my favorite pastime.
Maybe I should rename the opening section of the blog to become The Whinny Room. Though technically I did not open with it today.

I need to drink but only have one Guinness in the frig. How sad is that. Just saying. One Guinness. Robin Bird I was tempted by the rotgut stuff you brought over but only tempted. I’m a light weight compared to others. At least when I drink I don’t drink watery Budweiser. I compare American beers to American sitcoms. They make you giggle but never pee yourself in fun.

What’s going on in the world? Not much but the same old, same old today. Check here and here and here and you will probably find something interesting.

I like Ms.Magazine because I always find something interesting to read whether on their online site or the magazine itself. I recommend it for anyone with a open mind. Oh, and those of you who think it is just women’s issues do not truly understand how no issue can be one sided. The above link goes to a article I found interesting and I hope Wave gets the magazine with the full one in it so I can read it.

Going to be taking a lot of work home with me tonight and working into the am and then getting up with Wave so I can head to the library to continue working on stuff for big day job meeting taking place tomorrow. If it was not for this blog I think my Muses just might kick my ass for not writing more. Grouchy ladies all of them.

2 SHOWERS WITHIN 24 HOURS...I'M ON A ROLL

A I‘m guilty pleasure is coming back for another season. The show is has better writing than most other shows on television. The character designs, color palette, and quick story pace make it one of the best animated shows on U.S. Television.

Nope. Not going to comment but to say. Someone died. That’s always sad but not anymore than any other person in the obits.

I think my short story is heading into some strange YA, metaphysical, small town acid trip and it has me wondering about it and what may happen at the end. The fact that for some reason I can not get out of writing it in first person, I usually start a story in first person but then change it after the first chapter…I just don’t know. This may just turn out interesting. Oh, and it is no longer a short story. Looks to be dancing around novella territory right now.

See next stage we get Beam Me Up Scotty! I read this with Robin Bird in mind. She could probably tell me if I’m off base or not. Am I?

I tend to get very angry when seeing or hearing of babies being sick. Very angry at God.

I am glade they are doing this. I was so pissed that the only ways to get the special features was by getting the mega set after I had already bought almost all of the plain just episode season sets. MASH has always been one of my favorite television shows and one of the best in history.
