NANOWRIMO 2013

     Friends asking if I'm going to do NANOWRIMO next month, the answer is yes, the answer is yes and yes and I'm excited as I am every year. Though I probably wont finish this year for the first time because of revisions and rewrites on current projects.... but that's really not the point anyways in my mind. It's good to finish but its better to just write. It's fun to me. It's a Zero Draft battle royal of story telling.

To Cover To.... Mildred Betbeze

     The cover to the next Tin Universe book and the start of an all new middle grade series. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks. It will be available for download in December of 2013. Also while I'm here January of 2014 will see the relaunch of the Tin Universe monthly series with #12 which will lead to 2015 and #26 a large story collection which will contain several novellas and short stories of various lengths.

     Thank you to all those who gave me feed back on all the versions of the cover I was thinking about using before deciding on this one. Thanks to Carey, Dave, Mar, Melinda, Stephanie, and probably some people I forgot about because my brain isn't on full functionality right now, so sorry if you are one of those people.

The Way The Word Turns

     My next book will be released in December of this year. It's been a weird, angry, frustrating, and run road writing this book. I started on one thing, started it over twice, put it away, started on something else and that's the book that will be coming out in Dec. All the time while working on the stories of the monthly Tin Universe series which will be starting back up in January of 2014.
    Today has been me getting feedback on cover drafts. Final cover to be revealed next week. Last night I showed some of my finished covers to Mar and she gave me good feedback as well did other friends today.
     One thing that came out of the work on the cover for this book is how now I think I can see when I'm in love with a idea blindly and not thinking straight. Writers fall in love with ideas the way most people fall in love with famous people. It's full of falsehoods, self-created fantasies, and bullshit.
     The perfect situation would be to hire an artist for these covers and I really wish I could but I don't have the money for that. I would really like to hire local talent at least but maybe soon.
     Anyways, back to the work.
